Fishing Fin-Addicts Charters

Do not use this fishing Charter! Mike will take your money then make excuses to why he can't take you out then won't refund your money even after saying he will. He is a liar and thief and I hope know one will take a chance of this crook ripping you off!!! Stay away!!

DON'T GO OUT ON MISS BECK.

After putting our money together, we paid our fees for a 6 hour trip charter on the MISS BECK. However, due to deteriorating weather conditions and only 20 minutes of fishing, the captain cancels mid-trip promising a return trip for the next day. Next day,he cancels due to poor weather. Understanding, that there are costs of fuel, deckhand, etc., we'd negotiated for a fair refund. On the day of refund, there is no Captain...unheard from for 3 days; only to finally respond by maliciously by text.

BOTTOM LINE: He does the community of PANAMA CITY BEACH a disservice, as well as the hard working patrons that actually have to work and save for a few days off. A meager $140.00 is not the issue, it's the principal and the non-existent integrity of CAPTAIN MIKE MANDEVILLE on the MISS BECK that should have the PANAMA CITY BEACH community outraged for leaving such a bad taste in the mouths of their tourists.

This past weekend my wife and I walked the Treasure Island Marina dock after having dinner. We had no intention of going on a trip until we met the captain and first mate of the Miss Beck. Ron (First Mate/Deck Hand) spent a good 30-45 mins educating us on deep sea fishing. After speaking with Ron he introduced us to Captain Mike. Mike was very knowledgeable about fish and also our home town of Troy Alabama. My wife and I booked our family of 4 on Sunday morning. When we arrived at 6:45 Ron met our kids and loaded our belongings. There was never a dull moment with Capt. Mike or Ron. They kept us laughing and involved the whole time. We had caught 64.5 lbs of white snapper,grouper, and what they called B-liner. Being a manager of a engineering firm in Alabama I always make sure people are educated on all aspects of our business. Know that the Miss Beck Captain and Crew are ready to make sure you stay happy on all aspects of your trip. Thank You Mike and Ron, See you in September!!!

Payed for our fishing trip for Monday, July 25th. We got all the way to our destination after a couple of hours, and the captain decided the gulf was too choppy. So we went back in with the understanding that we would come back the next day, free of charge. The ocean was too rough the next day, so the captain agreed to give us a refund. However, since then I have tried to contact the captain several times over the past 3 days with no response. I am out $560 and I fully intend to contact a lawyer if I do not receive a refund within the next 24 hours. DO NOT FISH WITH THIS BOAT! The deck hand was sea sick about half an hour into the trip and was incapable of performing his necessary duties because of this. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

Miss Beck is an older boat with character. Captain Mike and Crew were great and very courteous. The captain knew where to fish and the 1st mate was quick to set up our gear and keep our lines baited. Fishing equipment and boat ran without issue but a safety briefing on life jacket use and location would have been useful. A great 6 hour outing and the weather could not have been any better for a December trip.

This boat is nasty, dirty, filthy. I believe there is a dog living on the boat. Something never works - a/c, generator, plumbing, etc. Only thing right about them is having "addict" in their name because there are some addiction issues on this vessel...
