2. Verwendung der Verbindungen gemäß Anspruch 1 als Zusatz in Haarpflegemitteln.
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft neue quarternäre Halogenalkanoate von Dialkylaminopropylamiden, die ausgezeichneten
Aufweichußgsmittel sind und überraschend gute Entwirmngs- und antistatische Eigenschaften in Haarpflegemitteln
aufweisen.
Aufgrund der erhöhten Anforderungen an Haarfrisuren und für modische Zwecke besteht ein ständiger
Bedarf für verbesserte Aufweichungsmittel, besonders für solche, die überlegene Haarkonditioniereigenschaften
aufweisen.
Viele Aufweichungsmittel, die in Haarkonditioniermitteln verwendet werden, machten das Haar entweder zu
fettig oder empfindlich gegen statische Aufladung. Außerdem sind sie häufig nur schwer zu formulieren.

bekannt, die für Haut- und Haarpflegezubereitungen geeignet sind. Es handelt sich um wasserlösliche Verbindungen,
die für ihre Wirkungsweise ein wäßriges System benötigen.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, neue Verbindungen zur Verfugung zu stellen, die öllöslich sind und in nicht-wäßrigen
Systemen eingesetzt werden können, wenn man sie als Haarpflegemittel formuliert
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Verbindungen gemäß dem Patentanspruch 1 gelöst.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen weisen in Haarpflegemitteln ausgezeichnete Entwirrungs- und antistatische
Eigenschaften auf, wobei letzteres besonders bei trockenem Kämmen wichtig ist. Darüber hinaus verursachen
die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen wenig oder keine Reize und können leicht formuliert werden, da
man hierzu weder Salze noch Säuren benötigt.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können wie folgt hergestellt werden: Die Säure wird beispielsweise
mit entweder gamma-Dimethylamino- oder gamma-Diethylaminopropylamin bei Temperaturen zwischen etwa
140 bis 1600C unter Verwendung eines alkalischen Katalysators unter einer StickstoffatmosphAje, welche die
Oxidation der ungesättigten Säure inhibiert, umgesetzt. Ein geeigneter alkalischer Katalysator ist beispielsweise
Natriumhydroxid, Kaliumhydroxid oder Natriummethylat odsr -ethylat.
Das Amid wird dann durch Umsetzung mit Fetthalogenalkanoatestern bei Temperaturen im Bereich von etwa
1CO bis 110° C unter Verwendung von Glykolen, beispielsweise Propylenglykol, als Lösungsmittel quarternisiert.
Beispiele für die verwendeten Chlorester sind Myristyl-, Cetyl- und Sorbitochloracetate und Decylpropionat.

Nachdem die vorgenannten Stoffe 4 Stunden bei 1100C erhitzt worden sind, wurde der theoretische Chloridgehalt
(2,9%) erhalten.

Die vorgenannten Stoffe wurden auf 110° C während 2 Stunden erhitzt, um den theoretischen ionischen
Chlorgehalt von 3,2% zu erhalten. Das Produkt ist eine helle bernsteinfarbene viskose Flüssigkeit bei Raumtemperatur.

Nerzöl, eine Mischung aus Triglycerid, enthaltend Myristin-, Palmitin-, Palmitolein-, Stearin-, Olein- und
Linoleinsäure, wurde mit 3-Dimethylaminopropylamid unter Verwendung von Kaliumhydroxid als Transamidierungskatalysator
umgesetzt.

Die vorgenannten Stoffe wurden unter Rühren in einem Kolben bei 140 bis 150°C 6 Stunden unter einer
Stickstoffatmosphäre behandelt Eine Alkalizahl von 152 wurde erzielt.

Nach dem Küh'-";n der vorgenannten Materialien auf 50° C wurden 201 g Wasser und 201 g Propylenglykol
zugegeben. Die Mischung wurde b«s zur Homogenität gerührt und dann wurden 162 g Myristylchloracetat
zugegeben. Das benötigte ionische Chlorid von 2,5 wurde nach 10- bis 12stündigem Rückflußbehandeln bei
105°C erzielt

Die theoretische Chloridmenge von 3% wurde durch Erhitzen der oben genannten Stoffe auf 110° C während
2,5 Stunden erhalten.

Dieses Material hat gegenüber dem Produkt, das in Bl beschrieben wurde den Vorteil, daß es flüssig ist, mit
„ der Viskosität von Glyzerin bei Raumtemperatur, während das andere Material bei Kühlung auf Raumtemperatur
ein Gel ist.

Nach Rückflußbehandlung der oben genannten Materialien bei 87°C während 1 Stunde wurde eine Säurezahl
von 03 erhalten.
Teil B:(Quarternisierung)
Nach Abkühlen der oben genannten Lösung auf 50°C wurden 291 g Myristyl-chlor-acetat zugegeben. Das
ionische Chlorid erreichte einen Maximalwert von 2,9% (der theoretische Wert beträgt 3,1%) nach Rückflußbe-
handlung während 5 Stunden bei 86° C Beim Kühlen auf Raumtemperatur verfestigte sich die Lösung zu einer
weichen festen Masse.

Nach Erhitzen der oben genannten Mischung unter Rückfluß während 1 Stunde auf 87° C wurde eine
20 Säurezahl von 0,2 erreicht. Die Mischung wurde auf 50° C gekühlt.

Zu der oben genannten Lösung wurden 263 g Laurylchloracetat gegeben. Ein ionischer Chloridgehalt von
33% (theoretisch) wurde nach 5stündig':r Rückflußbehandlung erhalten. Die Lösung des Produktes wurde auf
50° C gekühlt und in einen Glaszylinder überführt, wo es beim Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur zu einem weichen

Die vorgenannten Stoffe wurden in einem 2-Liter-Kolb-"*,n, der mit einem Thermometer, Rührer und einem
Rückflußkühler ausgerüstet war, 1 Stunde unter Rückfluß gehalten. Eine Säurezahl von 0,2 zeigte an, daß die
Reaktion vollständig verlaufen ist.

Dem Abkühlen auf 60° C wurden 235 g Decylchloracetat zugegeben. Ein ionischer Chloridgehalt von 3,4%
(3,4% ist die theoretische Menge) wurde nach 5stündiger Rückflußbehandlung bei 86° C erzielt. Nach dem
Abkühlen auf 50° C wurde die Flüssigkeit in einen Behälter gegeben, in dem sie bei Kühlen auf Raumtemperatur
zu einem weichen Feststoff erstarrte.
Analyse: % ionisches Chlorid = 3,4%
% Feststoffe = 50%
% Isopropanol = 50%
2%ige Lösung in Äthanol = unlöslich
55 2%ige Lösung in Wasser = dispergierbar
