Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for producing a specific shape on a brush according to the preamble of claim 1, an application of Process for the production of a brush or a brush and a brush or a brush comprising a holding part as well as brushes or brushes held in or on the holding part Brush hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires.
- the known methods are either physiological in part questionable or expensive or leave the production not too small brushes. So it has been particularly with the production of small toothbrushes for electrical cleaning devices or fine cleaning brushes, e.g. for the Precision engineering, shown that with very small wall thicknesses Brush body the known fastening methods for holding brush hairs, bristles or monofilaments etc. are not suitable are. It is also hardly possible with the known methods to shape the brush or to shape the brush surface.
- EP-0 519 677 describes the manufacture of brushes Use of ultrasonic welding described.
- a process for the production is described in WO90 / 00359 of small brushes with practically any design Bristle structures. It is suggested that on a bracket either a continuous opening is to be provided and the bristle bundle is inserted into this opening in order to make it shed on the bracket from the opposite side, to glue or weld or, alternatively, in the bracket recess a blind hole to the remaining Cover wall of the blind hole after the bristle bundle is turned over use as welding material.
- EP-A-0 329 939 describes a method and an apparatus for the manufacture of devices for the application of fluid media described by means of bristles.
- this object is achieved by means of a method solved according to the wording of claim 1 or 3.
- At least one insert element at or into the intake then fed the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires be what then a high-frequency field, a electrical, electromagnetic and / or a magnetic Field is generated to stimulate the insert element or to heat so that the hair, bristles, Monofilament or wire and / or the recording at least be melted to create the fuse link.
- the insert element in or inserted or fed to the holding element or the receptacle is excited by means of field or wavy lines welded or mechanically or by gluing to become. Then the hair, bristles, Monofilaments or wires in the area of the insert element in or inserted or fed to the holding part or the receptacle, whereupon the insert element is excited by means of field or wavy lines to further welding if necessary possibly changed compared to the first welding Trigger temperature conditions.
- This two-stage process is then preferably used if the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires are opposite the receiving part or the holding part a very different Have melting behavior.
- Melting temperatures would pose a risk in the one-step process Procedure that either the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires or the holding part or the receptacle excessive heating would be damaged.
- Another advantage of this two-step process is in that first the holding part or the receptacle with a Insert element can be provided and then supplied to a stock of hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires can be. The excitation then takes place with this supply of the insert element, whereupon only those from the stock Hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires with the insert element are welded, which directly abut this. This allows the production of a brush or a brush be greatly simplified.
- Another two-stage according to the invention is similar Process proposed, first of all the hair, bristles, Monofilaments or wires are fed to an insert element, which is excited and heated by means of field or wave lines to the supplied bristles, hair, monofilaments or wires at least to soften or melt to manufacture a welded connection to the insert element. Subsequently this insert element with the hair welded to it, Bristles, monofilaments or wires on or in a holding part or a recording supplied and with this mechanically, by means of Glue or weld again.
- the methods defined according to the invention are particularly suitable for creating a specific shape of a Brush or a brush by the insert element specifically the shape of the brush or brush shape to be created is adjusted.
- the insert element can vary depending on requirements domed, wavy, zigzag, conical, etc. be, which accordingly the protruding from the recording Ends of the hair, bristles or monofilaments on the insert element form the corresponding contour.
- the insert element can also be hole-like or column-like Have blank spaces, causing blank spaces at these according to the brush or the brush no hair, bristles, Has monofilaments or wires.
- those proposed according to the invention are suitable Process generally for making x-what brushes or brushes, such as paint brushes, cleaning brushes, Toothbrushes, precision cleaning brushes in mechanics etc.
- the methods according to the invention are particularly suitable for the manufacture of toothbrushes, both manual toothbrushes as well as suitable for use with an electrical Tooth cleaning device.
- the brushes or brushes produced according to the invention include thus a holding or receiving part or a receptacle as well brushes held in or on the holding or receiving part or brush hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires, at least one arranged in or on the receiving part or holding part Insert element is arranged, which is adjacent to the hair, bristles, monofilaments held in the holding or receiving part or wires is arranged, and wherein the hair, bristles, Monofilament or wire by means of a welded connection in or be held on the holding or receiving part.
- FIGS. 1a to 1c The method according to the invention is shown schematically in FIGS. 1a to 1c shown how brush or brush hair, bristles, Monofilaments and the like or bundles thereof in one recording be firmly arranged.
- a brush or brush body 1 comprises a receptacle 5, which is laterally delimited by walls 3 and which has a bottom 7.
- an insert element 9 is provided, which is preferably disc or foil, grid, wire, ring or plate-shaped or is designed as a shaped body. Also for that Introducing and firmly arranging hair, bristles, Monofilament or wire 11.
- Fig. 1b both the insert element 9 and the Hair or bristles or monofilaments 11 inserted in the receptacle 5 arranged.
- the brush or brush body 1 is now inserted into a coil 21, which coil in the area of the insert element 9 is to be arranged. It is important to ensure that the coil 21 as close as possible to the outer contour of the Brush or brush body 1 is arranged.
- a current such as an alternating current
- a magnetic field is generated by the wire coil 21 Direction changes in time with the frequency of the alternating current.
- the insert element 9 is now an electrical one conductive material, such as an electrically conductive Metal, such as iron or copper, is in the magnetic field penetrated insert element induced an AC voltage or eddy currents are generated in the insert element, whereby the insert element 9 is heated. Because of the strong Heating the insert element 9 are the one in the Recording 5 inserted ends of the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires at least softened or melted, as well if necessary, the bottom 7 of the receiving part. Thus arises a welded joint, and the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires are thus held firmly in the receptacle 5.
- an electrical one conductive material such as an electrically conductive Metal, such as iron or copper
- Fig. 1c is finally obtained according to the invention Brush or the brush shown, the inventive Idea is represented schematically by the fact that above of the insert element 9, a welding layer 10 is shown is. Of course, can also between insert element and Brush body 1 a welded connection can be generated.
- both the receiving part and the brush hair, bristles, Monofilament or wire is not made from a softenable or meltable material or a too high melting temperature have, it is also possible to include in the recording to introduce a so-called intermediate carrier, which for example comes to lie directly over the insert element.
- This intermediate carrier then consists of a material which slightly melted by heating the insert element can be so as to create the welded connection between those in the Recording inserted hair, bristles, monofilament or wire to do with the recording.
- Insert element 9 is connected to the receptacle 5.
- This Connection can in turn either by welding, gluing or manufactured mechanically.
- the hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires are inserted, to then by means of the with reference to FIGS. la to lc method described in the recording to be welded.
- the inclusion together with the insert element to a stock of hair, bristles, monofilament or Feed wires, put on and the necessary number by means to attach the welding method according to the invention to it.
- the recording with the insert element be taken away from the stock again, and the necessary Hair, bristles, monofilaments or wires are removed accordingly Deducted stock.
- the heating the insert element depends on the one hand on the distance the coil to the insert element, the number of windings, the selected one Wire material, from the applied field strength or Current density as well as the length of time during which the insert element is heated.
- the heating of the insert element can also be controlled by the selected form of the Insert element, such as dimensions, size and selected Material play an important role.
