Abstract

Improved handle for bags, comprising a substantially elongate part (1) having two sidewalls (2) delimiting therebetween a longitudinal channel (3), incorporating in the channel and specifically at the ends of the internal faces of the sidewalls (2) two pairs of opposite lugs (10), and providing the sidewalls (2) with upper edges which adopt the curvi-concave configuration (11) for the ergonomic matching with the user's hand.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present specification refers to an improved handle for bags, the evident purpose of which is to allow it to be used in order to make easy and more comfortable to transport any element or object fitted with handles, so avoiding consequently,in an advantageous manner, possible damages at the hands produced by grasping and holding a bag, undershirt type or similar, or any object that, fitted with handles could generate a direct injury at the user's hands.
  • At the same time, the invention allows several bags to be transported by interposing a cord joined at its extremities, so remaining in an adequate way, thanks to the elements incorporated in the own handle, the bags or bag joined to the handle when this is deposited at any point or place.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • This invention finds application in the industry devoted to the manufacture of handles and similar elements preferently manufactured of plastic material, for which it can be also incorporated in the industry devoted to the transformation of plastic materials.
  • RELATED ART
  • At present, several types of handles or grasping devices for - trasporting bags in a comfortable manner are known, avoiding the user's hands to be damaged.
  • Some grasps are inappropiate because when the user deposits a bag on a surface, the grasping devices are detached from the handles of the bag, and due to their own gravity fall toward the supporting surface, since they lack appropiate holding means for - being kept in place on the bag handles.
  • Specifically, it is known the existence of a grasping device applied for as a Utility Model in Spain, under number 9403265, which presents said drawback.
  • On the other hand, it is known that the mayority of the grasping devices, as known up till now, have an outside design by which a correct adaptation to the user's hand is not possible.
  • An evident solution to the at present existing problems on this matter would be to rely on a holder, handle or similar allowing several bags joined one other on the own grasping device to be transported, with or without the assistance of an additional fastening element, and, at the same time, a grasping device which could be, every time, joined to the handles of bags when these are deposited on a surface, to carry out any type of operation, remaining, every moment, joined one other, having be proved that if the handle could have an ergonomic configuration, its use would be really enhanced.
  • Nevertheless, up till now, nothing is known about the existence at present of an invention providing the characteristics pointed out as suitable to this end.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The improved handle for bags as proposed by the invention constitutes per se an evident novelty in the application field thereof, since itself gathers all the characteristics pointed out as fit.
  • In a more definite way, the improved handle for bags of the invention is constituted starting from a substantially elongated part, having two sidewalls delimiting therebetween a longitudinal channel, the bottom of which presents a curvi-convex curvature, whereon the handles of a bag rest and settle.
  • The ends of these sidewalls have curved recesses into which the handles of the corresponding bag will be inserted, so avoiding the mentioned handles of a bag to go out of the longitudinal channel, which is limited between said sidewalls during the bag transport.
  • The most important novelty of this invention is the existence of opposite lugs located at the ends of internal faces of the sidewalls, so that these lugs allow the handles of the bag to be inserted into said longitudinal channel, and, at the same time, they avoid the own handles of the bags, once have been arranged inside same, to come out when the user releases, rests or deposits the bag or the bags linked to the handle, whereat the handle which is the object of the invention will remain, at every moment, linked to the handles of the bags, until the moment at which the handle of the invention will be voluntarily taken out or move away from the handles corresponding to the bag or bags transported.
  • It should be pointed out, as already mentioned, that the invention exhibits a slight curvi-concave curvature of the upper edges of the sidewalls, which facilitates, in a substantial way, an ergonomic matching with the user's hand.
  • The handle, which is the object of the invention, allows several bags, in a simultaneos manner, to be transported with the aid of a closed cord.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • In order to complement this description and to aid to a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, the appending drawings, which are a part of this specification, show, by way of illustrative and non-limiting example, the following:
    • Figure 1 is a side elevational view, partially cut out, of the improved handle for bags, which is the object of the invention.
    • Figure 2 is a front elevational view of the handle shown in Fig. 1, showing its internal profile.
    • Figure 3 is an elevational view, longitudinally partially cut out, of the object represented in the previous figures, showing mainly orifices or similar holes for facilitating and making cheaper the manufacture of the handle.
    • Figure 4 is a perspective view of the handle which is the object of invention, incorporating a bag.
    • Figure 5 shows, lastly, a view of the object of the invention represented in previous figures, incorporating a close cord or similar, from which an unlimited number of bags are hanged, so making easy - their transport in a grouped way.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • From these views, it can be seen that the improved handle for bags of the invention is constituted starting from an elongate part (1), having two sidewalls or partitions (2) delimiting therebetween a longitudinal channel (3), at the bottom of which, having a curvi-convex configuration (4),the handles (5) of a bag (6) will rest, these handles (5) being inserted into curve recesses (7), arranged at the ends of the sidewalls (2), so securing the fastening and blocking of the handles (5) of a bag (6) during the transport.
  • Figures 1, 2 and 3 show clearly the tough structure of the inner portion of the handle, determined by a solid body (8) fitted with several orifices or similar (9), the function of which is to facilitate the cooling of the handle assembly in the inyection process, and, at the same time, they manage to reduce the material used in its manufacture.
  • On, the other hand, two pairs of opposited lugs (10) have been provided, which are integral with the ends of the internal faces of the sidewalls (2), said opposite lugs (10) being assigned to mainly prevent the handles (5) of the bag (6) to go out of the - longitudinal channel (3) when the user deposits the bag (6) at any place, so achieving that the handle of the invention remains linked, every moment, to the handles (5) of the bag (6), until the moment at which the user voluntarily takes out or moves away the improved handle from the corresponding bag (6).
  • The upper edges of the sidewalls (2) are fitted with a slight curvi-concave curvature (11), affecting all their length, so reducing the handle height at the center part, which considerably improves the ergonomic matching with the interior of the palm of the user's hand, when the user carries the bag (6) with the handle of the invention.
  • To transport several bags (6) in a simultaneous manner, a closed cord (12) is incorporated, such as shown in figure 5, which is inserted thru the handles (5) of the bags (6), and then said cord (12) is coupled in the longitudinal channel (3) of the handle (3) of the invention.
