Abstract

The elongated applicator element (12,14) holds the cosmetic product and dispenses it by contact onto the hair or skin. The applicator element extends along a peripheral line which is convex in parts at least. The width of the applicator element is, or is not, constant over its length. When viewed from above, the applicator element is straight or not straight at least in parts. The applicator element is decorated with designs; is adjustable in breadth, length and peripheral shape; and has a grip (18).
