Definitions
- the 'Easy Color' Colour Brush comes in five parts, all made of plastic. You can put it together by hand and it doesn't need any tools. It has no screws, bolts or nuts, because it is designed with the housewife in mind, the housewife who doesn't usually get to the hairdresser.
- the assembly is simple and easy to clean after use.
- the comb body is the container into which the colouring cream is poured. It is made up of comb teeth for putting on the colouring cream.
- the cream comes out of special through holes at the base of the comb body, which alternate with the teeth and take up half surface of the base. It has a large surface for even application of the product.
- the open end, where the colouring cream is put in, is closed using the manifold. This works as a plug, as well as connecting with the handle body.
- the handle body is made up of a hollow cylinder, open at the front and closed at the rear, to allow the insertion of the slider.
- the open part of the handle body will also close on the jointed manifold.
- the slider is the mechanism that allows the dispenser to push the cream within the comb body until it comes out of the holes.
- the dispenser On the smallest diameter part the dispenser is mounted, which has the job of pushing the colouring cream.
- the medium diameter part slides at the pressure of the user, out of the housing situated inside the handle body, across the manifold, and into the comb body.
- the pushing and connecting device On the largest diameter part the pushing and connecting device is situated, made up of a flexible lever. On one side of this there is a button and on the other a locating lug.
- a flexible link allows the lug to drop below the surface of the handle body, and into position in any one of the 17 square holes, thus blocking the movement of the slider.
- the button slides freely in the runner, the movement allowing the lug to engage in a hole and lock.
- the largest diameter part also helps to centre the slider inside the handle body.
- the manifold has a dual function. It works as a plug and joint between the comb body and the handle body, and as a sliding runner, by means of a hole situated in the centre of the manifold, for the slider.
- the manifold To assemble the manifold, simply connect the front part, the largest, to the open part of the comb body. Being of the same design but of different sizes, the two parts lock together perfectly, allowing the closure of the comb body.
- the rear part of the manifold has the same function as the front part. Having the same design as the handle body, but of different sizes, the two parts connect and lock together perfectly.
- the dispenser has the function of physically pushing the colouring cream within the comb body, forcing it out of the holes in the comb body's base.
Abstract
Description
- 'Easy Color' Colour Brush is a new, practical, easy-to-use idea.
- The idea came from personal experience. Putting on colouring cream in the salon or at home, you need a second person to apply the cream to your hair.
- With this brush though, you can apply the cream on your own, simply and easily.
- The five parts of the 'Easy Color' Colour Brush are:
- COMB BODY
- HANDLE BODY
- SLIDER
- MANIFOLD
- DISPENSER
- The comb body is the container into which the colouring cream is poured. It is made up of comb teeth for putting on the colouring cream. The cream comes out of special through holes at the base of the comb body, which alternate with the teeth and take up half surface of the base.
- It is provided with a sliding runner, open on one side and with 17 square holes on the other, that allow the user to measure out the desired amount of colouring cream.
- The open part of the handle body will also close on the jointed manifold.
- The slider is the mechanism that allows the dispenser to push the cream within the comb body until it comes out of the holes.
- It is made up of a cylinder of three different diameters.
- On the smallest diameter part the dispenser is mounted, which has the job of pushing the colouring cream.
- The medium diameter part slides at the pressure of the user, out of the housing situated inside the handle body, across the manifold, and into the comb body.
- On the largest diameter part the pushing and connecting device is situated, made up of a flexible lever. On one side of this there is a button and on the other a locating lug.
- Pressing the button makes this device work. A flexible link allows the lug to drop below the surface of the handle body, and into position in any one of the 17 square holes, thus blocking the movement of the slider. The button slides freely in the runner, the movement allowing the lug to engage in a hole and lock.
- The largest diameter part also helps to centre the slider inside the handle body.
- To assemble the slider inside the handle body, simply insert it by pressing the button and centring it in the runner.
- The manifold has a dual function. It works as a plug and joint between the comb body and the handle body, and as a sliding runner, by means of a hole situated in the centre of the manifold, for the slider.
- To assemble the manifold, simply connect the front part, the largest, to the open part of the comb body. Being of the same design but of different sizes, the two parts lock together perfectly, allowing the closure of the comb body. The rear part of the manifold has the same function as the front part. Having the same design as the handle body, but of different sizes, the two parts connect and lock together perfectly.
- The dispenser has the function of physically pushing the colouring cream within the comb body, forcing it out of the holes in the comb body's base.
- To assemble the dispenser, insert it into the small diameter part of the slider by means of a hole in the centre, and lock it with a simple spring (Seger).
Claims (7)
