The device (1) has a cosmetic product applicator unit (5) e.g. brush, connected to a longitudinal end (7) of a body (3), and a retaining ring (9) engaged around an anterior phalanx (17) of a finger of a user, and with size allowing simultaneous support of two areas (13, 15) opposite to the ring on the finger when the phalanx is engaged with the ring. The ring is coupled to another longitudinal end (11) of the body opposite to the former longitudinal end, so that the body provides a support area for an end phalanx (27) of the finger of the user when the anterior phalanx is engaged with the ring. The applicator unit is a brush, an individual brush or comb, a thermoplastic porous, a flocked tip, synthetic foam, caster or pencil and a cannula. An independent claim is also included for a cosmetic product applicator assembly comprising a container containing a cosmetic product.

On connaît par GB 2 343 149 et US 3 505 700 des dispositifs applicateurs de produit cosmétique prévus pour être portés par la phalange d'extrémité d'un doigt de l'utilisatrice, par exemple de l'index. La forme, l'inclinaison,et la taille des boucles sont prévues pour ne pas gêner le mouvement de basculement de l'instrument d'écriture par rapport à l'index, pour les raisons énoncées ci-dessus. De tels anneaux sont donc inutiles pour des dispositifs applicateurs de produit cosmétique, car ils ne contribuent pas à immobiliser le dispositif applicateur par rapport au doigt. US 657,370 and WO 93/13949 both describe a writing instrument with a handle having a closed loop provided to receive the index of the hand of the user. Dans une variante de réalisation, la taille et la position de l'orifice fermé sont prévues pour que l'utilisateur engage son majeur dans l'orifice, la main en position d'écriture comportant au moins trois doigts pliés contre la paume, le majeur, l'annulaire et l'auriculaire. Une telle position n'est pas commode pour l'application d'un produit cosmétique avec une grande précision. US 6,161,974 describes a writing instrument with a handle having a closed orifice. De tels dispositifs ne permettent pas un guidage très précis de l'outil d'écriture.   • un anneau de maintien adapté pour être engagé autour d'une phalange antérieure d'un doigt d'un utilisateur, de taille adaptée pour permettre un appui simultané de deux zones opposées de l'anneau sur le doigt quand la phalange antérieure est engagée à travers l'anneau ;
  • l'anneau étant lié à une seconde extrémité longitudinale du corps opposée à la première, de telle sorte que le corps offre au moins une zone d'appui pour une phalange d'extrémité dudit doigt de l'utilisateur quand la phalange antérieure est engagée à travers l'anneau.
