IMPROVEMENT IN FINGER-BRUSHES FOR CLEANlNG TEETH.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 128,093, dated June 18, 187-2.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE M. ALLEETON,
of Dover Plains, in the county of Dutchess and State of New York, have invented an Improved Finger-Brush for Teeth, 850.; and the following is declared to be a full and exact description of the same. a My invention consists ofahollow flexiblerubher case having projections or cleaning-points on one or more sides. One end of the case is closed, and the other open for the admission of the finger; or both ends may be open. By the use of this brush for cleaning the teeth, any part of the mouth can be reached where the finger can go; and the teeth can be cleaned back and front with equal facility.
In the drawing, Figure 1 is a cross-section of my improved brush. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the same; and Fig. 3 is a View of the same placed on the finger ready for use.

as usual.
Different sizes of these brushes may be I made, and any desired number of cleaningpoints may be used upon the same.
I do not claim an Indiarubber tooth-brush, as the same has been made to slide upon a small piece of ivory or bone, forming a handle. In this instance the brush can only be employed in the ordinary manner. By making the brush as a flexible case, fitting the finger, the brush is adapted to being bent around the back part of the teeth, and used for cleaning them in places where it is difficult to introduce the or dinary brush.
My tooth-brush occupies very little space, and may be carried in the pocket.
I claim as my invention- A tooth-brush made of an India'rubber case, fitting the finger, and provided with projections or cleaning-points, substantially as set' forth.
