IMPROVEMENT m TOOTH-BRUSHES.
Specification forming part of LettcrsPatent No. 140,429, dated July 1, 1873; application filed May 31, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JAMES D. ODONOGHUE and WILLIAM ODoNoeHUE, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and Improved Tooth-Brush, of which the following is a specification:
This invention consists of an ordinary toothbrush having a convex brush arranged at the end of the handle, crosswise to it, in a difierent plane and fronting the other brush, so that.
handle at one side of it and fronting the brush B, as above stated, so that when the brush end B is used as a handle and the convex brush put in the mouth it applies to the teeth at the inside better than any other brush by reason of its convexity and relative arrangement with the handle.
\Ve have in this example arranged this brush in connection with the ordinary toothbrush as a matter of convenience; but it is obvious that it may be arranged on a separate handle.
Having thus described our invention, we claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- A tooth-brush, 0, arranged, in relation to its handle, as herein shown and described.
