This invention relates to improvements in toilet cases particularly adapted for use in connection with tooth brushes, the present invention being an improvement on the disclosure in my Patent No. 1,604,918 dated October 26, 1926. v

The main object of the present improvement is to provide a device that may be readily carried in the pocket of the user and having includedas a part thereof novel means for holding the tooth brush in a tubular enclosure when not in use with material advantages from a sanitary standpoint, and also to include a structure which provides for holding .a tube of tooth paste within the enclosure with the brush, and further to facilitate projection of the brush for use without separation from :anypart of the holder and .at the same time render the tooth paste readily accessible.

A further objectof the invention is to simplify the construction and arrangement of the parts of the enclosing means for the tooth brush of the character specified wherein the main enclosing element or body is materially reduced in its structural features and wherein the brush carrying head serves as the end closure for the bouy of the device when the tooth brush together with the tube of paste are retracted within the said body.

A still further object of the invention is to provide for ventilation and drying of the brush after use when enclosed in the main body of the holder to shield the brush, and also to, generally improve the structure whereby it is made more ei'licient in its service. v

lVith the foregoing and other objects and advantages the invention consists in the construction and arrangement. of the several parts which will be more i'ull y hereinafter described and claimed.

The improved tooth brush organization also includes a brush carrying head 12 which is hollow and has a rear concavo-convexclosing wall 13, and a front flat wall lt with an excentrically located opening 15 together with V a socket 16 projected therefrom above the said opening. centrically projected from the head 12, and the greater length thereof extends in advance of said head and the remaining part projects into the head so as to straighten the mounting of this socket. In contour the socket is slightly flattened and resilient, a slot 16" being formed longitudinally thereof to permit it to suiiiciently yield to receive the handle 17 of a tooth brush 18, the handle 17 in this instance being shorter than the handles of tooth brushes as ordinarily constructed. This improved tooth brush holdingmeans is very simple in its operation and will serve an effective. means for. reventing'corrosion from dampness of t e brush or the bristles of the latter, owing to the ventilating openings provided in the several parts which permit a thorough circulation of air through out the length of the'interior of the improved device.

'While the invention as heretofore described is believed to be a practical and preferred embodiment of'the invention, yet it is to be understood that such changes and alterations in the construction and arrangement of the several parts, as the exigencies of use may showto be necessary or desirable, may be made withouttranscending the scope of the invention as defined by the appended claim.

What is claimed as new is The combination with an open-ended cylindrical enclosure for a tooth-brush, of an insortable, hollow plug therefor, one face of said plug being centrally raised and apertured, a ring mountedin said apertures and projecting from said plug, and a brush-securing split tubular socket bodily carried by the cap and projecting in an opposite direction to the ring, said tube being disposed eccentrical- 1y of the plug. l
