Abstract

A nail polish bottle cap includes a hollow cap with an opening facing downwards, a brush pendent from the interior of the cap, a grip tapered gradually from the lower side to the upper side on the front side and the rear side to form a grip. The grip has an insertion slot on the top end that is extended downwards for a selected depth to hold an attachment such as a file.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a nail polish bottle cap and particularly to a nail polish bottle cap that has a housing space to hold a plate type nail file.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The general nail polish bottle now on the market, referring to FIG. 1, mainly includes a transparent glass bottle to contain a colored or translucent liquid nail polish and a cap to screw on the upper portion of the glass bottle. The cap is attached to a brush in the interior that is pendent downwards. The brush is extended from the bottom of the cap for a selected length and dipped into the nail polish to be adsorbed by the nail polish. Before applying the nail polish, users generally have their nails manicured, and trim the edge of the nails or the cuticle around the nails by a plate type file. Hence nail manicure is a common chore before nail enameling. And small tools such as nail clippers and files are needed. To find and get these small tools could be troublesome, especially in the outdoor environment. In the conventional marketing, the nail polish and files are treated as different products and sold separately. Users have to buy and keep them separately. It is inconvenient for users to fumble for the nail polish and the file when they need to enamel the nails.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a nail polish bottle cap which has an insertion slot on the top leading to the interior of the cap for a selected depth to house a plate type file so that the nail manicuring tool is always ready for use before enameling the nail. Both are held in an integrated manner to provide more convenience to users both in use and storing.
  • The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional nail polish bottle.
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded view of an embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 4 is a sectional view of an embodiment of the invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Please referring to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the nail polish bottle cap according to the invention includes a hollow cap 10 with an opening facing downwards, a brush 11 pendent downwards from the interior of the cap and extended from the bottom of the cap 10 for a selected length. When the cap 10 is coupled with a nail polish bottle 20, the brush 11 is dipped into the nail polish contained in the nail polish bottle 20 to allow the nail polish to adsorb thereon. The main feature of the invention is that the cap 10 has a flattened grip 12 tapered gradually from a lower side to an upper side on a front side and a rear side. The top end of the grip 12 has a substantially V-shaped notch 13 and a transverse and rectangular insertion slot 14 which is extended downwards for a selected depth to hold a plate type attachment 15 (such as a file). Once the attachment 15 is inserted, its upper section has a portion exposed to the notch 13. The attachment 15 may has a color different from the cap 10 to make recognition and fetching easier.
  • By means of the construction set forth above, the attachment 15 such as a file may be kept in the cap 10 all the time. Thus when users want to enamel the nails, they do not have to fumble for the file to manicure the nails. Moreover, the attachment 15 such as the file has a fixed location for storing and is less likely to get lost.
  • In addition, as the attachment 15 such as the file is accompanied with the nail polish when purchased, users do not have to buy nail manicuring tools separately. Furthermore, the cap 10 has sufficient space to hold the attachment 15 without taking too much space. It is handy and easy to carry without taking extra space and is ready for use for manicuring and enameling the nails.
