  • The intermediate connecting device 54 includes a plurality of first splines 541 extending inwardly from said rear cap 24, and a plurality of second splines 542 extending outwardly from the rotating member 51. Each of the first splines 541 extends into a space defined by two adjacent second splines 542, so as to allow for co-rotation of the rotating member 51 with the rear cap 24.
  • The distance between the axis (I) and the first splines 541 is smaller than that between the axis (I) and the ribs 231.
  • Due to the presence of the intermediate connecting unit 54, the rear cap 23 is co-rotatable with the rotating member 51.
  • The resilient member 55 is configured as a compression spring that is disposed in the rear cap 24 and the rotating member 51 and that is sleeved on the rotating shaft 31 between the flange 513 of the rotating member 51 and the insert strips 41. As such, the rotating member 51 is biased by the resilient member 55 toward the fixed member 22 to engage the first ratchet teeth 52 with the second ratchet teeth 53.
  • With particular reference to FIGS. 5, 6, and 10, during use, it is only necessary to rotate the rear cap 24 relative to the pen body 21 so as to drive synchronous rotation of the rotating member 51 and the rotating shaft 31, thereby moving the adhesive pushing block 32 toward the adhesive outlet 253 to eject the eyelash adhesive out of the adhesive outlet 253. Since the rotating shaft 31 is threaded into the threaded hole 223 in the fixed member 22, and a clicking sound is produced during relative rotation between the first ratchet teeth 52 and the second ratchet teeth 53, the rotational angle of the rotating shaft 31, the distance traveled by the adhesive pushing block 32, and thus the amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing from the pen can be controlled precisely. Furthermore, due to the presence of the unidirectional rotation unit 50, the adhesive pushing block 32 is limited to move toward the adhesive outlet 253, thereby resulting in convenience during operation.
  • In view of the above, the eyelash-adhesive dispensing pen of this invention has the following advantages:
    • 1. The amount of the eyelash adhesive flowing of the pen can be controlled precisely so as to avoid consumption of the eyelash adhesive. Furthermore, the pen is easy to use.
    • 2. Since the rotating shaft 31 rotates in only a single direction, the eyelash adhesive is ejected out as long as the rear cap 24 is rotated. That is, the eyelash adhesive cannot be retracted into the pen, so that undesired entrance of air into the pen can be prevented, thereby further resulting in convenience during use.
  • With this invention thus explained, it is apparent that numerous modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of this invention. It is therefore intended that this invention be limited only as indicated by the appended claims.
