Abstract

My invention is a flosser built into a toothbrush that allows the user(s) to floss and brush at the same time. This invention is directed towards oral hygiene. What makes my invention unique is the application of my mechanism that I've designed that allows the flosser to work in the toothbrushes handle for multiply uses (see the “Details of Invention”).

Description

  • The model consist of ¼ in width . . . it's length approx 6 inches this is a good guess do make any and all adjustments as needed.
  • This model must be made compact. When in use this hygiene tool is a working visual model design with a comfortable fit for any size mouth . . . The wheel that holds the dental floss holds about 4 feet of actual dental floss. Not making the handle too wide so the wheel operates with any size fingers. The ridges on the backside of the handle moves the second wheel this piece is made with grooves when the wheel turns it locks in. This keeps the dental floss tight on the other end. First wheel is made on the top for turning the second wheel under it about 0.05-1 inch apart . . . Do make any necessary adjustments for the fitting of both wheels to operate properly.
  • This working model must be made in two parts. The wheels and floss on one side and then mounted together as one part . . . The dental floss end is made a little bigger than the floss itself to running through it. New floss must be separate from the old floss and these part are built not touching each other using a plastic divider fitted inside.
  • The flossier must extent at least 0.05-1 inch from the toothbrush handle for proper fit to mouth. The first wheel will receive the old dental floss by turning the second wheel manual Both wheels must have the same locking devise so the floss is tight on each end so as you turn it there is a click to tighten the floss.
  • In addition, Identical fitting caps are on each end of the toothbrush with several small hole in cap to allow air to the brush and floss to prevent hygiene issues.
  • Both caps must fit tight and are be easy to remove for usage. The design of this hygiene tool is balanced comfortable to handle and the appearance is attractive to the eye.
  • Flossier must extend at least 1 inch from the toothbrush itself giving the look of a longer neck. The flossier itself is 1 inch longer and 0.05 inch in height this gives more mom to floss comfortably and making this tool easy to move inside the mouth. Final add a sealant inside to all areas to insure parts are water proof.
