In some cases it may be found preferable that instead of the passage I2 being axially idisposed relative to the vfeed-section I2 it may be longitudinally inclined relative to such axis as shown at I2 in Fig. 7, with equal advantages to those ascribed to the form shown by Figs. f1 -and 5; while it is to be remarked ,corresponding references arel applied to Fig. -7 in `order to obviate unnecessary repetitive matter.
From the-foregoing description `it is thought the use and advantages inhering to this inventionwill vbe clearlyV apparent; but it is deemed advisable to mention that said pen is forty per cent lighter in Weight than yany known pen of corresponding size; that in View of its simplicity it `can be thoroughly cleaned with a minimum of effort, and when the barrel is made of transparent material it is not only possible to see the color of the contained writing fluidy but also at a glance when refilling is necessary. Again by making the clip adjustable radial sweat holes are unnecessary; and withal by virtue of its novel construction as a whole there is provided a pen of maximum ink carrying capacity and that is clean and sanitary at all times while being positively free of any tendency to leak even if laid on a flat surface for lengthy periods of time.
Obviously minor changes may be effected in structure details in adapting this invention to different types and styles of fountain pens Without departing from the spirit and scope of the following claims.
Having thus described my invention, I claim:
1. A fountain pen comprising a barrel, a feed through, a resilient material nipple closing in the inner end Yof said feed section and adapted for penetration by a hollow-needleY filler device.

A fountain pen comprising a writing uid container barrel, a removable feed section carrying a conventional writing point, said feed section having an axial passage therethrough, and a` resilient material nipple closing. in the linner endV of said feed section, in combination with a i'lllerdevice in the form of a compressible bulb having an .attached tubular needlewadapted for free passage through the filler axial passage and nipple 3. A fountain pen as defined in claim 2 `wherein the inner end of the feed sectionis increased in diameter, and the nipple Aconsists of a rubber closure ofv a length so that `when fixed rto the feed section it defines a holloW-hemispherical closure cap therefor.
4. A fountain pen as dened in claim2, wherein the filler needle portion outer end isttapered to facilitate piercing of the feed closure hemispherical cap end.
