Threading the tube thus in place particularly to those of the portable pocket type, secures the former substantially and prevents with parts arranged for renewal or adjustment. leakage when'the dentifrice 20 is squeezed out. The main object of this invention is to pro- A passage I4 in the barrel 2 serves to conduct 5 vide a tubular handle designed to serve as a the dentifrice through it and into a passage I5 5 sanitary protector for the brush bristles and to in the toothbrush head I6. It passes out of the containa dentifricetube so connected as to suphead I6 through an oriiice I1 to and among the ply the brush in a convenient and suitablemanbristles I8 of the toothbrush. The toothbrush ner. Another object is to provide an adjustment head I6 proper is bent from its connecting shank l that will control the ilow of dentifrice to the atan angle t dispose. it offset from the screw 10 brush. Other objects will become apparent as threaded end portion of same that screw-threads the invention is more fully set forth, y into the neck piece 6. The off-setting of this -In this invention, a hollow toothbrush head is brushy head affords room for the head when used, with a passage running internally to and placed in the cap I, to come adjacent to the wall l through the shank of the brush. The shank is thereof, andl for ample space 'in front of the 15 attached to a hollow barrel that holds a convenbristles. This prevents the bristles from becomtional dentifrice tube securely with its mouth ing stuck to the'wall, even when toothpaste dries pointing towards the passage so as to conduct l thereon, as frequently happens with tooththe dentifrice through the brush' to the bristles. brushes not so spaced. This arrangement also At the same time pressure maybe brought on gives, leverage for. screwing the shank into the 2O the tube by a closure member acting on the neck 6. The bend in the shank has the function barrel without necessitating contact with the, of resisting the flow of dentifrice through its user to pinch the tube with his hands.v The passage I4 to the extent of preventing spurts of toothbrush is arranged in a tubular casing that this material out of it, yet a gradual exuding.

The thimble 9 has against the rib 3, being arranged to meet the a plunger I9 that squeezes against the tube as cap I without any open seam between them, as the barrel cap is screwed on the end portion 1; indicated in Figure 1. This barrel cap has a spool 21| for floss 22 vas 45 The barrel 2 is preferably constructed as shown shown and a suitable holder 23 -for a lipstick 24. in the sectional view. its front end portion 5- This lipstick extends toward the pencil portion being bevelled towards a neck piece 6. The toothbrush is then utilized in the usual manner.
The iioss is taken 01T as needed and the lipstick is used as required. 'I'he pencil is operated in the conventional manner. After use, the cap i and the pencil shell i are mounted on thebarrel 2 and the device replaced in the users pocket, purse or bag, where it will be out of the way, and its internal parts safely protected.
While but one form of the invention is shown in the drawing, it is not desired to limit this application for patent to this particular construction, otherwise than limited by the prior art, as it is appreciated that other forms might be made that would use the same principles and come within the scope of the appended claims. Having thus described the invention, what is claimed 1. In a toothbrush structure,'the combination of a hollow toothbrush head arranged for the extrusion of dentifrice therethrough, a barrel arranged for holding the brush head vwith a dentifrice passage in registry with the hollow portion of the head, said barrel having a boss \ex tending into the interior of the barrel and adapted to hold the neck Yof a dentifrice tube in registry with the said passage for extrusion of its contents therethrough to the brush, said connecting portions of the barrel with the brush and the tube having an intervening passage for providing for the predetermined ow of the dentifrice stream, a thimble fitting on the barrel having a cylindrical plunger insertable and operable in the barrel and slightly smaller in crosssection than that of a d ntitrice tube placed therein and spaced away om the walls of the barrel to permit the tubeto spread out conveniently when collapsed by the pressure of the plunger thereon and to upset the tube on the boss when the collapsing portions approach said boss.
2. In a toothbrush structure of the class described, the combination of a removable toothbrush head with an oil'set shank having a dentifrice passage therethrough to the bristles of the brush, a hollow barrel having a conical head portion arranged with an enlarged orice projecting exteriorly for receiving andfholding the said shank and with an interiorly projecting boss with an enlarged orifice for receiving andholding the neck of dentifrice'tube vand with a narrow intervening passage in between the said enlarged orices for providing a predetermined forming of Athe dentifrice therethrough, the interior of the barrel adjacent to the boss being converged'around about same and spaced therefrom and adapted to provide an upsetting space for the tube to collapse in near the end of its collapsing, a thimble adjustably mounted on the exterior of the barrel having an internal plunger therein of cylindrical form and adapted to contact the-rear of a dentifrice tube placed in the barrel and spaced from the walls thereof to permit the tube to be collapsed and widened therein, and means on the barrel for denitely limiting the travel of the thimble on the'barrel.
