COMBINATION TOOTH-PICK.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 407,362, dated July 23, 1889.

Application filed March 29, 1888. Serial No. 268,904. (No model.) e

&c., in the form of thread or floss,with a tooth-' pick of metahwood, quill, bone, horn, or other material, by winding the floss upon the pick and securing the free end in a slit made in the end of the pick, as shown in Figures 1 and 2 of the drawings, or by winding the floss upon a spool, ball, or bobbin and placing the same inside the pick, to be drawn out through an opening for the purpose, preferably through the end, as shown in Fig. 3.

Vhat I claim as new, and wish to secure by Letters Patent, is

The combination of a fibrous material in the form of thread or floss with a tooth-pick, in the manner set forth, whereby I use the pick as a carrier and holder for the floss.
