Description

Beutelverpackung für flüssige ArzneimittelBag packaging for liquid pharmaceuticals
Technisches GebietTechnical field
The invention relates to a sachet packaging for single doses of liquid medicinal products to be taken orally.
Beschreibung der ErfindungDescription of the invention
Numerous drugs are taken orally in liquid form. Et al In order to increase the dosing accuracy, to avoid hygiene problems and to have single doses available everywhere, liquid medicines are provided in foil bags. This form of administration has proven particularly useful in the case of antacids, which are generally in the form of suspensions. These suspensions are usually provided in so-called four-edge sealed bags. Four-edge sealed bags are bags that are formed by all-round sealing of two composite films. These bags can be easily carried by the patient. By shaking or kneading the unopened bag it is easily possible to homogenize any suspensions that have settled. To remove the single dose, the bag is cut open or, if it has a tear-off device, torn open. The contents can then be emptied onto a spoon or into a drinking vessel, for example, and then taken in. Many patients prefer to squeeze the contents of the pouch directly into the oral cavity and / or to vacuum the pouch. Since the sealing seams are relatively sharp, the direct removal from the bag into the mouth is not very pleasant. Since the side sealing seams are relatively stiff compared to the pouch films, it is difficult for many patients to take the entire dose without loss, since it apparently makes it difficult to correctly sense the different stiffness of the pouch film in the area of the opening with the lip sensors . The object of the present invention was to provide a pouch packaging for single doses of liquid medicinal products to be taken orally, which the patient can take without difficulty.
It has now surprisingly been found that when liquid, oral medicinal products are packaged in so-called film stick packs, patient acceptance increases considerably. Foil stickpacks are made from the usual aluminum composite foils by attaching sealed horizontal transverse seams and a vertically sealed one Fitted seam. Such foil stick packs have hitherto been used, for example, for sugar or butter portions. The invention relates to a bag packaging for single doses of liquid medicinal products to be taken orally, which are characterized in that the medicinal product is present in foil stick packs.
Another object of the invention is a dosage form for liquid, orally ingested medicament, which is characterized in that the liquid, orally ingested medicament is present in foil stick packs. The invention furthermore relates to the use of film stick packs for taking up liquid medicinal products to be taken orally. Further objects result from the claims.
The technique of producing film stick packs and their filling are known per se to the person skilled in the art. Customary aluminum foils are used as the material, which are optionally lacquered or paper-coated on the glossy side and are laminated on the matt side with plastic, preferably polyethylene / polyester foil. The terminal sealing seams are double seams (inside against inside). The longitudinal seam is produced using the techniques familiar to the person skilled in the art. It is designed, for example, as a so-called taping seam, in which the butt abutting longitudinal edges are preferably connected from the inside by a sealing tape. The longitudinal seam can also be designed as a flat seam with an overlap of an aluminum-free zone.
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to drawings. 1 shows a top view of the bag packaging according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows a view of the back of a bag packaging according to the invention. 3 shows a side view of a bag packaging according to the invention.
The film stick pack 1 shown in FIG. 1 has an elongated, essentially rectangular shape. The two narrow ends of the tubular structure are each closed by transverse sealing seams 2, 3. One of the transverse sealing seams 2, 3 contains a small incision 4 which serves to facilitate the opening of the film stick pack 1. After tearing off one end of the film stick pack, the contents can be emptied by stripping from the other end of the film stick pack 1 into a collecting vessel or directly into the patient's mouth.
Diese Längsnaht 5 ist als Flachnaht oder als Taping-Naht ausgeführt.2 shows the rear side of an embodiment of a bag packaging according to the invention. Here you can see the longitudinal seam 5 created by sealing, the two sides of the original film web connects. This longitudinal seam 5 is designed as a flat seam or as a taping seam.
The outer shape of the bag packaging can be seen from FIG. 3 in conjunction with FIG. 1. It presents itself as an elongated tubular structure with an essentially oval cross section and flat ends.
