Abstract

A process is disclosed for preparing a hair lotion and a hair gel for treating hair fall and for causing new hair growth. The disclosed hair lotion and hair gel based on natural products allows hair fall to be stopped and new hair growth to be otained within a very short time both in men and women. To produce the hair gel, the cold-pressed cellular tissue (meristem) of various sorts of cacti, pampas grass, ribwort, dandelion and nettle plants are used as natural products, depending on the latitude, together with 30-50 % alcohol. The hair lotion is based on the same products, mixed with spray-dried L-aminoacids, extracted by disaggregation from tissue protein, as well as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron. The hair gel and hair lotion are used to treat androgenetic alopecia, as well as alopecia areata. In the latter case, very successful results have been obtained even in cases where hair fall had lasted for may years.

The applicants have treated women and men as subjects with hair loss with sensational success in the institute, Femina, Ostenallee 21 4700 Hamm, since January 1992.

We have also succeeded in regrowing our own hair in middle-aged men with hereditary, age-related hair loss.

Natural products in the form of a hair drink, a hair gel and the type of hair treatment we have developed - high frequency, heat, cold and light therapy are used and lead to these results.

The treatment for men with severe balding, with 2-3 hair treatments per week and a time expenditure of approx. 30-45 minutes per treatment takes a period of 6-12 months 40; but it is successful, even with apparently hopeless, hereditary or age-related baldness.

Since we are convinced today that our method is of great interest, especially for people with increased hair loss, 45 or balding, we are registering the utility model protection for the hair drink and hair gel developed by us in connection with the hair treatment method.
