Abstract

An applicator (2) for applying a product (4), the applicator (2) comprising a pressurised container (6), a sleeve member (8) which receives the pressurised container (6), a retaining mechanism (10) for retaining the pressurised container (6) in the sleeve member (8), and an applicator head (12). The pressurised container (6) comprises a body portion (14), the product (4) under pressure in the body portion (14), and a valve (16) which is actuated for dispensation of the product (4) from the pressurised container (6). The applicator (2) is arranged so that, in use, the applicator head (12) receives the product (4) from the pressurised container (6) upon actuation of the valve (16). The pressurised container (6) is separable from the applicator (2) so that the pressurised container (6) can be replaced when empty.
