明 細 書 ブラシの び装置 漏分野
本発明は歯ブラシ等のブラシの製 法に関する。
歯ブラシの B ^法に関する ¾έ¾¾|?として、 平線と称される^ Sの ¾iによ り用毛の毛束を毛束挿入孔に揷入して固定する方式が広く行なわれていた。 この 方式は装置を簡便に構成できるが、 織の腐食、 藤の際に錫とプラスチック との複^になる、 歯ブラシの植毛部分の厚みを薄くできない、 植毛の毛束の大 きさが制限される (太い毛束を植毛できない)、 斜め植毛か ϋしい等の不都合が ある。
平線を用いない 謹としては、 次の 3方式があった。
(1)タイプ I :特公平 6-16725、 USP4635313
毛束揷入孔を有する fii ^用 (キヤビティ)の毛 ¾ 入孔に毛束を挿入し、 毛 ¾S部にプラスチヅク材料を充填する。 これにより、 歯ブラシのハンドノ! ¾が
~#的に製造できる。 キヤビティの構 β¾_ヒ、 プラスチヅク材料を充填する際に毛 ¾ 入孔からプラスチヅク材料が洩れ易レヽ。 これを抑えるためブラスチヅク材料 の毛 部を溶融して丸め、 これにより毛束揷入孔を塞ぐことが行なわれるが充 分ではない。例えば β¾¾圧を上げた際には毛束揷入孔の隙間からプラスチヅク材 料の拽れが発生し易い。
(2)タイプ Π : USP5458400、 特閧平 9-182632
予め成形された多数の植毛孔を有するプラスチック板に毛束を挿入し、 毛束と プラスチック板を に挿入し、 譜反の開口部をプラスチック で充填する方 法。 この方法も上記タイプ Iの方法と同様に毛束揷入孔の隙間からの充填プラス チヅク材料の浅れが発生する。
(3)タイプ ΠΙ: 平 6-46962
植毛孔を有する鎌の植毛孔部と毛 «部の双方をカロ難密着させ、 該繊に 毛束をかしめる方法。植毛形態が自由に行ない易いが、 毛束の固定に関しては品 質のばらつきが出易い。 ―
近時、 口腔衛^ ±、 歯垢除去性、 歯間清掃性、 歯茎へのマッサージ効果の優れ た歯ブラシか望まれている。機能の高い歯ブラシを ssgするためノ、ンドルや植毛 部分について各種の創意工夫が行なわれる。本発明は植毛方法の改良に関するも のである。
植毛方法により歯ブラシの の性能が異なるが、 敲の傾向では 1本の歯ブ ラシに対する植毛方法が多彩になってきた。即ち、 毛束の搬、 毛束の大きさ、 用毛の太さ、 本数、 毛束を植える面積 を 因子として挙げることがで きる。麵者の要望も細 ^(匕してきており、 対応のもの、 歯茎のブラシング 性の良いもの等の種々のタイプが上巿されるようになつてきた。歯ブラシの設備 について言えば、 同一の謹で種々のモデルが S ^でき、 品種の切り替えが簡易 な方が望ましい。
歯ブラシに対する植毛方法の主な要素 として以下のものを挙げることがで [植毛方法の主な要素 ]
(1)毛束角度が自由に できること (傾余職毛)
(2)毛束の^耑の开 ^力壬意に^十できること。
(3)植毛基部が薄くできること。
(4)植毛孑し付近のバリのないこと。
(5) |¾1が小型かつ品禾重切替も容易である。
本発明は平線を細せず、 上記の要素擁を満足する歯ブラシを纖しょうと するものである。
平線を使用しなレ、歯ブラシにおいて、 傾纖毛を行なう鎌は充分 されて いるとは言えない。例えば、 WO99/23910Als WO01/13762A1. WO01/14117A1 には傾斜した毛束を有する歯ブラシが開示されている。 その製 法は 技術 記載のタイプ Iの方法である。即ち、 毛束を毛束挿入孔に揷入後、 ¾¾¾部側に 歯ブラシ本体部分を形成するキヤビティを形成する と組み合わせた後、 キヤビティにプラスチック材料を注入するものである。 この方法において毛束揷 入孔からの ¾λプラスチヅク材料のもれの «を抑えるには、 i)毛束揷入孔への 用毛の充: ^度を上げる、 ii)毛柬揷入孔を塞ぐ方法がある。 Sitする歯ブラシの 植¾¾部は删する際には露出部分になるので、上記 ii)の方法は翻しにくい。 従って上記 i )の方法を行なうことになるが、 予め切断した用毛を^ fflする:^ には毛束挿入孔に高密度に毛束を挿入することは困難である。
特開平 9-182632には、植毛する毛束を毛束揷 Affl貫通孔に一旦麟した後、 一^^ハンドゾレ部の毛束揷入孔に挿入する方法が開示されている。 この際用毛 押出ピンによりテーパー孔を介して毛束揷入孔に揷入する。 この方法では全毛束 を一括して揷入しており、植毛された毛束も植毛基部に対して傾斜していない。 従って、 毛束揷入孔に高密度に毛束を揷入することにつ V、ては充分な纖を取つ ていない。 また、 毛束角度を自由に したり、 毛束^ を任意に ¾ti"する という本発明の目的にも適していない。
USP4693519や USP4255224には切断した用毛ストヅクから用毛をスリーブ にピヅクアップして毛束挿入孔に植毛する方法が開示されている。 これらの発明 においては、 毛束を斜めに植毛することが開示されている。 しかし、 この方法で は、 ビックアップする用毛の; «がばらつき易く、 用毛の充¾¾度を上げること も困難である。そのため、植毛毛束揷入孔に隙間ができ易く、 バリ の要因は 解消していない。 またこの方法では毛束の の开 犬を任意に衝形することは述 ベられていない。 —方、 毛束揷入孔に一 ¾Sつ高密度に用毛の本数をピヅクアップするには、 リ ー から挿入することが周知である。特開平 7-194433にはリールから用毛を供 給し適当な長さに切断後し、 毛束の充填密度を上げ且つ毛束^ ¾を»する方法 が開示されている。即ち、 Β縮装置を用い段階的に ffi縮を行ない、 ¾mの も 圧縮と同時に中央部が突出するように整形するものである。 この方法では圧縮装 置が 須であり ¾H構成も煩 JIになる。 また «する毛束の 娥にも限界が ある。 この方法を斜め植毛に itffiすることは可能ではあるが、 斜め方向に用毛を 供 するリ一ルを配置する必要がある。 そのためリール同志又は用毛の の接 触や ¾ の問題から植毛の方向 (ί頃斜の方向) が制限される。 発明の開示
本発明の課題は、 に記載した平線を用いない植毛方法のタイプ I及び タイプ Πにおいて、簡素な装置構成により、 毛束の植毛角度を自由に I ^し、か つ毛束を高密度で毛束挿入孔に揷入して植毛孔付近におけるバリの発生をなくす ししにめる
本発明の他の は、 毛束の «の形 I犬を任意に «することにある。
本発明は、 用毛の毛束を毛束揷入孔に挿入後、 樹脂材料に鍵するブラシの製 不法であって、 毛束揷入孔の断丽狱や断面積に対応した個別のスリーブを用 意し、 該スリーブに用毛を導入し、 該スリーブ内の毛束を押出手段にて対応する 毛束揷入孔のそれそれに個別に挿入するようにしたものである。
また、 本発明は、 用毛の毛束を毛束揷入孔に挿入後、樹脂材料に職するブラ シの製 置であつて、 毛束揷入孔の断面开狱ゃ断面積に対応して個別に用意さ 用毛を導入するスリーブと、 スリーブ内の毛束を対応する毛束揷入孔のそれ それに個別に挿入する押出手段とを有してなるようにしたものである。
尚、 本明細書でスリーブの子 L由、 毛束挿入孔の孑し軸、植毛孔の孔軸のそれそれ において用いる 「孔軸」の文言は、 それらの孔に用毛を保持させた際の用毛の長 さ方向に沿う方向を意味する。 また、 本明細書で毛束挿入孔の断面开狱、 スリ一 ブの孔断面、 毛赖入孔の断麵のそれそれにおいて用いる 「孔の断面」の文言 は、 それらの孔に用毛を保持させた際の用毛の長さ方向に垂直をなす面による断 面を意味する。 図面の簡単な説明

用毛供給装置 2 1は、 切断された用毛 1を収容するス夕ヅク 3 0を有する。ス 夕ヅク 3 0は、 力 PBE装置 3 1により加圧さ ガイド 3 2の内部にて一定密度に 圧密される。 これにより、 難するスリーブ 6 0による; ϋϋδ密度を安定し、 毛束 基部の溶融プレス時の用毛乱れや, 3の背面充填時の 挿入子しの隙間からの mn (バリ) をなくす。 (毛束勝冶具 ·働 -移動装置 2 2 )
毛束鶴治具 .鶴 ·移動装置 2 2は、 纖 3を位 决め固定した毛束麟治 具 4 0を麟する鹏装置 4 1を有し、この ^^装置 4 1を 台 42に備える。 毛束膽治具 ·膽 ·移動装置 2 2は、 サーボモ一夕 4 3の回転力をカツプリン グ 4 4からポ一ルねじ装置 4 5を介して 台 4 2に伝え、 ¾ 台 4 2をガイド レールに沿う水平方向の X方向に移動可能とする。 図 2は、 毛束保持治具 4 0を 麟装置 4 1に挿入した時点を示し、 毛束麟治具 4 0は毛束植設のために X方 向に移動される。
毛束麟治具 4 0 (図 3 (A) ) は、 上 割体 5 1、 中段分割体 5 2、 下段 分割体 5 3、 ばね 5 4を有する。上段分割体 5 1
部(又は凸部) 5 1 Aと、繊 3の植毛孔 4に対応する毛束揷入孔 5 5 ( 5 5 A) を有する。 中段分割体 5 2は上段分割体 5 1の毛束挿入子し 5 5 ( 5 5 A) に連な る毛束挿入孔 5 5 ( 5 5 B) を有する。毛^入孔 5 5 Bは後に詳述する ¾¾孔 5 6を備える。

スリーブ ·條 ·移動装置 2 3は、 スリ一ブ 6 0を鶴し、 水平方向の Y方向 と、 鉛直方向の Z方向に移動する。サーボモータ 6 1の回転力をカヅプリング 6 2からロールねじ装置 6 3を介して 6 4に伝え、 衞台 6 4をガイドレー ルに沿う Y方向に移動する。衞台 6 4はスリーブ 6 0を麟する昇隨置 6 5 を搭載し、 昇!^置 6 5は Z方向に移動し、 この Z方向の移動により、 スリ一ブ 6 0による毛束の取出し、纖 3への のための 3への接近移動を行なう。 尚、 スリーブ 6 0を支持する観間にスリーブ旋回装置 6 6を備えれば、 スリー ブ 6 0の角度街卿を行なえる。図 2はスリーブ 6 0で毛束を取出す時点を示して おり、 スリーブ 6 0は基板 3への毛束の植設のために Y方向に移動される。
(毛 出し装置 2 4)
毛翻出し装置 2 4は、 昇險置 6 5に押出ピン 7 1の馬隱装置 7 2を搭載し ている。押出ピン 7 1は、 スリ一ブ 6 0内の毛束 2を纖 3の植毛孔 4へ押出し 可能とする。押出ピン 7 1は維する^ ¾端 7 3を備える。
従って、 毛束挿入装置 2 0にあっては以下の 的構成を備える。
©¾束^治具 4 0に ¾反 3を すること。
©fc刀断した用毛 1をストツクするス夕ック 3 0内の用毛 1を Z方向に移動する スリーブ 6 0により取出すこと。

@¾束 2の は、 毛束の基部を立# ^に SBする他に、 毛束に対し、一 律直角方向に したり、一^め方向に することも含む。
⑤ス夕ヅク 3 0の加圧装置 3 1はエア馬隱による 物理的荷重をかける方 又は各種ギヤにより用毛を押出す方式等を採用できる。
束麟治具 4 0の上段分割体 5 1、 下段分割体 5 2のスライド漏は 2分 割 に 3分割以上でも良い。
謹反 3を用いず、 後述する如く、 繊の植毛孔と同様な开狱ゃテ一パ状を有 する植毛孔を有する毛束揷入のためのガイドプレート (1 0 0) を用いることに より、 (キヤビティ)の に毛束を効率良く できる。
以下、 歯ブラシ il装置 1 0による歯ブラシの難手順について説明する。
[ 1 ] スリ一ブに毛束を導入する g (図 4 )
d滷ブラシの' Sf を満たす機旨、例えばナイ口ン等のポリアミド、 ポリプチレ ンテレフ夕レートのようなポリエステル等からなる切断済の用毛 1をスタック 3 0に充満する。
②用毛 1を一 保持するためのスリーブ 6 0をスタック 3 0に突刺し挿入し、 該スリーブ 6 0に定量の用毛束 2を導入して取出す(図 4) 。
@¾束職治具 4 0に備えた ΐ«の毛束挿入孔 5 5の断丽狱や断面積に対応 した個別のスリーブ 6 0が用意されている。 ④スリーブ 6 0をスタック 3 0に揷入したときのスリ一ブ 6 0に作用する抵抗 を軽減し、 また用毛 1の折れ曲がりを防止するため、 スリーブ 6 0は の肉 厚を薄くし、根元側の肉厚を 確保のために所定の厚肉にする。
具体的には、 歯ブラシの用毛では、 スリーブ 6 0の^ ¾部の肉厚を O.lmn!〜 0.3mm@gとし、ネ 側を 0.3mm~0.8mmとすることが挿入性、耐久性の両立 の面から好ましい。スリーブ 6 0の先端面のエッジ部外周は RO.lmm〜! 10.2m の丸めや、 "Wりを行なうことで、 更に揷入性を向上できる。スリーブ 6 0の内外面に各種コーティング(例えばポリテトラフルォロエチレン等) を施せ ば、 スリーブ 6 0の滑り性が向上し、 挿入し易い。スリーブ 6 0の材質について は、 スリーブ 6 0の加工性、 耐久性等を考慮し、 各禾 131択が行なえる (尚、 焼き 入 «をした、 高い碰の材質は、 の耐久性か くなる)。
スリープ 6 0の 面は、 スタック 3 0への挿入時の抵 ί¾ 及び斜め植設 時の対応を良好にするために、 斜めカツト状にすることも有効である。
[ 2 ]毛束挿入準備 ® (図 5 )
. ®&3は、 歯ブラシとしての ~¾特性を満た,旨、 例えばポリプロピレン 等を ¾¾β¾ΐ揚で射出舰されたものである (図 5 )。凝反 3はへヅド部 3 Αと 握り部 3 Bを に備えた例であり、 ヘッド部 3 Aの背面の ia部に開口する多数 の植毛孔 4'を備える。植毛孔 4は基板 3の背面側にテーパ状の導入口 4 Aを備え る。
画反 3は毛束麟治具 4 0の凹部 5 1 Aに位織聰持さ 纖 3の植毛 孔 4と毛束備治具 4 0の毛雜入孔 5 5とが舰 態になる。毛束麟治具 4 0の毛束挿入孔 5 5は、籠 3の鍵面 3 Cに対し直交する lk 斜交するもので も良い。斜交するものは毛束のうちの^ |5であっても良く、 ^であっても良い。 ③毛束 2を麟したスリーブ 6 0に押出ピン 7 1を挿入し、 植毛準備扰態とす る。 尚、 スリーブ 6 0の 側を負圧吸引すれば、 毛束 2を義に麟し、 霞 での毛束 2の落下を防止できる。 [ 3 ]毛束揷 Λ¾ (図 6〜図 8 )

纏反 3の好ましい寸法 としては、 図 5 (Β) に示 口く、 繊 3の肉厚 a2を lmm〜5mm、植毛孔 4の有効孔部の長さ a 1を 0.5mn!〜 2mm、 導入口 4 Aのテ一パ角 a3を 20度〜 120度とするとともに、植毛孔 4の ¾gb 1に対す るスリーブ 6 0の子し径 b2の比 b2/blを、 80〜: L30%とし、 毛束 2の挿入性、 外観性、 樹脂 5の背面充填時のバリの状況により、 より良いす法を邈尺する。 ま た、 反 3の植¾?し 4の孔径に対し、 毛束!^治具 4 0の 挿入孔 5 5の孔径 については、 同一径が »であるが、 毛束 2の挿入性を考慮し、 毛娜入孔 5 5 の孔径の方を毛束 2の径ょりも 0.05mn!〜 0.2mm離大きく設定することが好 ましい。
③スリ一ブ 6 0を 反 3の植毛孑し 4、 毛束保持治具 4 0の毛束揷入孔 5 5の断 面職や断面積に対応して個別に用意してあるから、 断藤態の異なった植毛孔 4、毛束揷入孔 5 5に新するときには、翻スリーブ 6 0を切り替える(図 6 )。 スリーブ 6 0に切断した毛束 2を順¾¾毛するものであり、 孔軸方向の異なる複 数の毛束揷入孔 5 5に植毛するときに、 スリ一ブ 6 0同士の干 がなく、 任意の 子 LI由方向の斜め孔 5 5に植毛できる (図 7 ) (スプール用毛や切断済用毛を一括 して植毛する:!^ (特開平 9-182632)、用毛の移動方向や、複数の押出ピンが干 渉する斜め方向は不可肯 gである)。
@¾束^治具 4 0の毛束揷入孔 5 5に毛束 2を揷入するとき、 同時に、 毛束 揷入孔 5 5の 耑の整形孔 5 6と押出ピン 7 1の蠻 耑 7 3の協働作用で毛束 2 の を立^に^ ¾する。
押出ピン 7 1のスリ一ブ 6 0に摺接する外周には直角面を形成し、 その内側に 丸味面等を形成した整形端 7 3を用いる場合には(図 8 (A) )、 スリーブ 6 0 と押出ピン 7 1のクリァランスに用毛 1が入りかみ込むことを防止できる。特に、 用毛 1の先端に丸め加工、 テーパ加工を施したもので有利になる。
押出ピン 7 1の整开$¾ 7 3を階段状にしたもの (図 8 (B) )では、
3カ 々の用毛 1の先端と同じ方向の押し当て面を有し、 用毛 1をスリーブ 6 0 内で長手方向に精度良く移動させ、 押し込み時の用毛 1の乱れを防止できる。先 端が斜めの毛束 2、 挿入方向が斜めの毛束 2に対し有利である。
毛束^治具 4 0の毛束挿入子し 5 5 ©»?L5 6 (図 7 ) は、 中段分割体 5 5 Bの分割面の近傍に設けることが好ましい。分割体 5 5 Bの分割面に近いため、 加工するェン.ドミル (刃物) の負荷が少なく、精度良く加工できる。
©¾束 ^治具 4 0は 材料で構成する他、樹 S旨材料で構成することもでき る。特に、 ポリテトラフルォロエチレン等で構成する; ^は滑り性が良 挿入 性が向上する。 尚、 滑り性、 耐久性の を考慮し、 雜材料にポリテトラフル ォロエチレン等のコ一ティングを行なうことも有効である。

' 束^治具 4 0の毛^入孔 5· 5への毛束 2ベの挿入が完了したとき (図 9 )、 毛束 M#治具 4 0の中段分害!]体 5 2を上段分害 [I体 5 1に対し 入子し 5 5の孔軸に交差する方向にスライドさせ、 毛束 2を する。毛束保持治具 4 0 は、 上段分割体 5 1と中段分害!牀 5 2の 2分割でなく、 3分割以上とすることに より、 毛束 2の^ ¾果を向上できる。該スライドにおいて上段分 5 1、 中 段分割体 5 2の相対的移動距離は、 O mn!〜 lmm渡で 職の状態により 移動量を選択する。
@€束膽治具 4 0における ± i①による毛束 2の麟は、 腿:] ¾での用毛 の乱れ(浮き上がり、 ねじれ)防止、 用毛基部を溶融プレスするときの毛のねじ れ防止(特に超音 «動による溶融プレスの は、 振動にて、 用毛が浮き上が り、 ねじれ易い)、 樹脂 5の背面充填時において (図 1 1 (B) )樹脂圧力を受 けたときの用毛のねじれ防止に寄与する。

②加»8 1は、纏ヒ一夕や熱 IL レーザ、超音 «®Jに誘動口熱等がある。 カロ難 8 1による毛錢部の好ましい溶融: r¾は、 毛越部をカロ鮮 8 1で加熱 した後、 溶副^及びプレスの後、 冷却を行なう。 図 1 0及び図 1 6では超音波 mm (ウェルダー) を力 ci»8 1とした であるが、 力ロ»とプレス体が同一 ' であり、 ブレスした後、 冷却後に毛 部から離れるので、 溶 旨が糸を弓 [か ない。その結果、 溶融樹脂は超音波ウェルダーにほとんど付着することがなく、 樹脂がこげ等の変色し、歯ブラシに透明プリヅスルカ われているときの商品価 値の低下を防ぐことができるので好ましい。力 Ci^8 1にインパルス溶着機を用 いた^も、図 1 0、 図 1 6と同様な構成となり好ましいが、 の識ヒ一夕、 m, レーザ、 超音 «1 &、 併用して使用できる。 尚、カロ鮮 8 1が超音 «®Jによるものでは、 その漏による用毛 1の乱れや ねじれを生じ易いが、 毛束 2をスライド概寺する前述 [ 4]の漏を用いると、 tiriB用毛 1の乱れやねじれを抑えることができるので好ましい。
③毛束織治具 4。において、 上段分割体 5 1と中段分割体 5 2で毛束挿入孔 5 5 ( 5 5 A、 5 5 B ) を形成する部分のェヅジは、 図 9 (B) に示 "T$口く、 丸 味又は面取りを付与し、 超音 «動がこのエッジに集中して用毛 1が溶!^着す ることを防止する。 R0.2mm以上の丸味又は同 @¾以上の ®¾りが好ましい。
[ 6 ]纖反の背面充填: E@ (図 1 1 )
0®板 3に植設された毛束 2の基部端面を毛束基部溶融装置 8 0で溶融せしめ た後、 毛束赚治具 4 0を纖背面充^:麵繩 9 0に揷入する。毛束麟治具 4 0は、 挿入機 9 1により ¾¾f 9 0の位 决め部 9 2に挿入される。
②藤遞 9 0は、 9 3を雄 3の背面に密着し、纖 3の背面の凹部に樹 脂を射出離する。金型 9 3は、 纖 3の背面側にだけ設ければ良ぐ コス トを観でき、 メンテナンス性も良レ。
,鎖反 3の背面に充填する搠旨 5と-しては、 繊 3と同じ材料(例えばポリプ ロピレン) を用いることが主であるが、例えば、 同じポリプロピレンでも 反 3 と樹脂 5の物性を変え、 fii 性や品質の向上を図ることができる。具体的には、 ¾反 3に対して岡 I胜ゃ B¾撃性の高いポリプロピレンのホモポリマ一やプロヅク コポリマ一を用いて強度を確保し、 背面充填用の樹脂 5としては流動性の良いポ リプロピレンのランダム共重^を用いて ¾¾3の植毛孔 4からの翻!^れの防 止を図る等の方法がある。
また、 翻旨 5として、 纖反 3と異なる材料(例えばエラストマ一) を用いるこ とで、歯ブラシとしての弾力性や色を含めた外観に特色のあるものを^できる。
[ 7 ]毛束挿入の他の例(図 1 2 )
反 3の碰の異なる方向の植毛孔 4に対する毛束 2の植毛に際しては、 ス リーブ 6 0の孔軸方向を各植¾?し4の孔軸方向に^:るように同一角度にし、 毛 束 2を挿入することが最も好ましい形態である。
②しかしながら、 スリーブ 6 0を個別の角度に対応するためには、 毛束挿入装 置 2 0 (図 1、 図 2 ) においてスリーブ 6 0を任意の角度に 可能とするため の、 サーボモ一夕や複数のギヤ等の装置とその $卿回路が必要となり、 装置構成 が雄化すると共に、 装置重量が増加し、 の動作: ϋ¾を高速化できない。 こ れを^:するため、ネ 寸の結果以下を採用できる。
反 3の植¾?し 4に設けたテーノ状の導入口 4 Α ( [ 3]の寸法^) を用 いて毛束 2を挿入することにより、 複数の異なる角度方向の植¾?し 4に対し、 ス リーブ 6 0の角度を固定しながら挿入可能になり、 個々の植¾?し 4の孔軸角度が 鉛直方向に対し ±30。 @Sまでは挿入できる。以上の方式をとれば、複数の異な る植毛角度の毛束を持つ歯ブラシを効率良く、 比較曜単な装置構成で生産でき る。
[ 8 ] ¾f反の他の例(図 1 3、 図 1 4)
3の开狱が植毛孔 4を有する部分とその近^分からなり、従ってへヅ 'ド部 3 Aだけを有し、握り部 3 B . (図 1 2 )を有さない形態(図 1 3) とすれば、 毛束^治具 4 0に基板 3を固定して行なう搬送工程や、植毛固定において、 装 置の小スぺ一スィ匕が図れる
ド部 3 Aだけからなる St反 3の形態は植毛部の各部のす法^状況によ つては、歯ブラシの に優位性がある。ヘッド部 3 Aと握り部 3 Bがつながつ た纖 3については、 纖 3と背面充謝 5の鶴力が弱くなつたとき、 植毛孔 4が背面凹部の棚旨' 5の端面を介して f一 f間で に纖してつながり、 折れ 易くなる可能性がある (図 1 4 (A) )。 これに対し、 ヘッド部 3 Aだけからな る鎌 3の;^、植毛孔 4が g—g間で鶴に纖してつながらないため、 強度 的に有利である (図 1 4 (B) ) 。
[ 9 ] ^に毛束揷入孔を備える例 (図 1 5、 図 1 6 )
繊 3を用いず、 繩 9 0 (図 1 1 ) の金型 9 4に設けた毛束挿入孔 9 5に 毛束 2を挿入し、歯ブラシを i¾tすることもできる。
に対し、前述の纖反 3と同形態の毛束挿入のためのガイドブレ一ト 1 0 0を導入し、押出ビン 7 1がスリーブ 6 0から押出す毛束 2をガイドブレ一 ト 1 0 0の植毛子し 1 0 1を介して金型 9 4の毛束挿入孑し 9 5に挿入する。
ガイドプレート 1 0 0は、 錫材料にポリテトラフルォロエチレン等をコ一テ ィングしたもの等が好ましく、 万一スリーブ 6 0がガイドブレ一ト 1 0 0に ¾ した ¾^、 ガイドプレート 1 0 0が 9 4に翻しても、 それらの損傷を避 けることができる。 ガイドブレ一ト 1 0 0を用いず、 鍾 9 4の毛雜入孔 9 5 にスリーブ 6 0から直接毛束 2を導入しょうとするときには、 外観上、 9 4 の毛束揷入孔 9 5に導入テーパを設けることができないため、 用毛の挿入を安定 的にできない。
ガイドプレート 1 0 0の植¾?し 1 0 1にテ一パ状の導入口を設けることにより、 スリーブ 6 0内の毛束 2を圧密状態で植毛孔 1 0 1に導入し、 ひいては^ 9 4 の毛束挿入子し 9 5に高密度で挿入できる。 これにより、 9 4と毛束 2の間で 充 脂のはみ出しを防止できる。
(D^ 9 4の 揷入孔 9 5の先端に擾孔 9 6を設ければ、 毛束 2の挿入と 同時に毛束 2の^ を立^に できる。
4を互いにスライドできる複数の分割体 9 4A、 9 4 Bからなるもの とすることにより、 毛束 2を 9 4の全ての毛束揷入孔 9 5に揷入した後、 そ れらの分割体 9 4A、 9 4 Bを互いにスライドして毛束 2を鹏でき、 ガイドプ レート 1 0 0の麟し時に毛束 2が乱れることを防止できる。

②スリ一ブの子 U?面は丸孔 でも良レヽ。
③スリ一ブの孔断面は毛束挿入孔に対し近 のものでも良い。
®¾束 i¾t治具の孔断面形状は、 必ずしも摇反の孔断面と同^ Kでなくても 良い。
⑤ス夕ヅク 3 0を複数化し、 各スタック 3 0に長さの異なる用毛を備えれば、 同一スリーブで の長さの異なるものを植毛できる。
面樹脂充填部については、樹脂部材 も含まれる。
®t刀断済用毛のスタック 3 0から毛束を各種の方式で取出し、 スリ一ブの後端 から毛束を挿入し、 押出ピンにて植毛する方式を採用しても良い。
⑧スプール用毛を一定量の とし、 スプールに揷入し、押出ビンにて植毛す る方式(スリーブ挿入前に切断又は挿入後に切断の双方を含む) を翻しても良 い。
本 態によれば以下の作用がある。

(請求項 5に対応する作用) (11)歯ブラシに清掃機能 (歯垢除去機能や歯間に毛先を到達させる等) を付与 するには、 毛束 2を斜めに することが行なわれる。本発明では斜め植毛を容 易にする。 毛束 2の全部又は一部を互いに同一方向又は^ Cの異なる方向に斜め に挿入して植設できる。
(12)スリーブ 6 0をコンパクトにしながら、 用毛束 2が互いに斜めに交差する ^1な植毛形態を形成できる。用毛がスプールから繰り出される方式の場合には 用毛が交差するような斜め植毛が困難である。

(13)毛束挿入孔 5 5が斜めであっても、 スリ一ブ 6 0からの挿入は一方向から 行なえる。植毛孔 4に設けたテーパ状の導入口 4 Aの効果により斜めの毛束挿入 孔 5 5にも良好に挿入できる。
(14)複数の毛束揷入孔 5 5の孔軸が互いに異なる方向にあるとき、各スリーブ 6 0をそれらの 揷入孔 5 5の孔軸方向に位 决めする 置では、 サ一ボ モー夕やギヤ等を組合せた観な装置になる。 また、 ¾έ^¾置では、 スリーブを 鹏する装置重量が重くなり、'揷; や挿 度が悪くなる。 これに対し、 本 発明では、 孔軸方向が互いに異なる纖の毛束揷入孔 5 5に対し、 スリーブ 6 0 からの挿入が一方向から行なえるから、 装置構成は簡素で高 I4f である。

( 1 ) 用毛の毛束を毛束挿入孔に揷入後、 樹脂材料に植設するブラシの製 造方法であって、
毛束挿入孔の断面形状や断面積に対応した個別のスリ一ブを用意し、 該スリーブに用毛を導入し、 "
該スリ一ブ内の毛束を押出手段にて対応する毛束挿入孔のそれぞれに個別に挿 入するブラシの 法。
