Abstract

The present invention pertains to a method for bleaching keratin fibres and more particularly hair and to a bleaching composition, more particularly to a method for bleaching and/or colouring hair with the steps comprising the following steps: - preparing a mixture for application that comprises hydrogen peroxide and/or an adduct thereof with organic or inorganic carriers, - applying the mixture to the hair that is to be treated, - leaving the mixture to act on the hair for a specified time, - rinsing the mixture off from the hair. In accordance with the invention, a haircare substance is applied to the hair with the mixture.

The present invention relates to a method of bleaching keratinic fibers, and more particularly hair, and a bleaching composition. Such methods of bleaching keratinic fibers and in particular human hair are known in the art. In this case, an effective lightening performance for the hair is usually achieved by the sequential application of oxidative and reductive application steps. Usually, such hair dyeings or bleaching are made to give the hair different shades. In this bleaching usually hydrogen peroxide is used in concentrations between 1, 9 to 20%.

The bleaching takes place in several steps. In a first step, a composition containing hydrogen peroxide is applied to the hair. Subsequently, after a certain exposure time, this hydrogen peroxide mixture is washed out of the hair and then the hair is treated with a care product.

The hair consists of several peptide chains whose basic building blocks are individual amino acids. The amino acids in peptides contain functional groups which, by interactions (for example hydrogen bonds) with other acids, in particular amino acids or their functional groups and salts, give the hair a certain strength and elasticity. When bleaching, the color pigment melanin is dissolved and numerous hydrogen bonds lose their hold. In addition, a bleaching destroys not only color pigments, but the substance of the cortex. Therefore, a bleaching is to be used only by professionals. Otherwise it may even lead to hair loss due to improper use of bleaching.

The present invention has for its object to provide a method for bleaching hair as well as a bleaching composition, which is gentler for the hair to be treated. This object is achieved by the subject of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments and further developments are the subject of the dependent claims.

In a method according to the invention for bleaching and / or dyeing keratinic fibers and in particular hair, a mixture to be applied is first prepared or made available which contains hydrogen peroxide and / or one of its addition products of organic or inorganic carriers. Subsequently, this mixture is applied to the hair to be treated. Further, the mixture is applied to the hair for a predetermined period of time. Finally, the mixture is rinsed out of the hair.

According to the invention, a hair care substance is applied to the hair with the mixture.

Whereas in the case of processes known from the prior art the application to the hair or the treatment takes place in two steps, it is proposed in the context of the method according to the invention to apply the care substance to the hair immediately after the application of the hydrogen peroxide. This is preferably an advance application, for example in the field of two-component hair coloring (oxidation coloration) including a product content. By adding various care components already in the necessary for the coloring hydrogen there are several advantages. This results in a softer hair by a better, more effective care and a gentler treatment. Furthermore, it is not necessary to provide the additional cure pack which is usually provided in the prior art after dyeing. Also, the incidence of hair breakages can be reduced and it also results in a faster and more efficient application. Furthermore, also eliminates a step in dyeing.

By introducing hydrogen peroxide, the cuticle layer of the hair is opened and the hair pigments are dissolved. During the entire dyeing process, these remain open. In the method according to the invention, the care components added in the hydrogen peroxide are now interposed between the scales and surround the hair.

Advantageously, the mixture containing the hydrogen peroxide is a mixture which has an oxidizing agent preparation and which preferably also contains a bleaching activator preparation. The hair-care substance preferably contains at least one substance which is selected from a group which contains triglycerides, vitamins, glycerol, depanthenol, keratin and / or niacinamides. In a further advantageous method, a quantitative ratio between the hair care substance and the hydrogen peroxide is between 1:10 and 1: 2, preferably between 1: 8 and 1: 3, more preferably between 1: 6 and 1: 3 and particularly preferably at about 1: 4. This ratio is advantageous regardless of the hydrogen peroxide or this ratio remains the same even at higher percentages of hydrogen peroxide.

In another advantageous method, the hydrogen peroxide composition is an aqueous hydrogen peroxide composition. The above-mentioned bleaching or bleaching activator preparations may represent a proportion of from 0.1% by weight to 10% by weight, calculated on the total composition. In a further embodiment, the care substance may contain inorganic or organic sulfur-containing reducing agents.
