Prototype: Steam locomotive with oil tender 141. R.1244 for mixed operation, in the optical condition of the French State Railways (SNCF). Current operating condition, as the locomotive is currently operational at the Mikado 1244 Association in Brugg, Switzerland. Model: The locomotive has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. Four axles powered, three of them with coupling rods. Traction tyres. The locomotive and tender are constructed mostly of metal. Smoke generator installed as standard. The headlights change over with the direction of travel and two red marker lights are in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Switching to a red marker light. The cab lighting, running gear lighting, and firebox/burner flickering can each be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Close coupler with kinematics between the locomotive and tender. The tender has a close coupler with NEM shaft. Buffer height on locomotive and tender according to NEM. Minimum passable radius 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes and brake hoses are included. Length over buffers approx. 27.9 cm. Highlights Completely new construction. Series 141. R. for the first time in the Märklin programme. Particularly delicate metal construction. A large number of separately applied details. Smoke generator as standard. The cab lighting, running gear lighting, and firebox/burner flickering can each be controlled separately in digital operation. The locomotive has an mfx+ digital decoder with extensive light and sound functions. Buffer height according to NEM.
