Model tests out racy leather S&M lingerie like Gwyneth Paltrow’s range — but is it torture to wear?
It's hard to deny leather underwear looks great, but not all of us have the budgets to send £599 on one of Gwyneth Paltrow's saucy sets
BUCKLE up – the new trend for leather undies is racier than ever. Gwyneth Paltrow’s luxury lifestyle brand Goop is selling a bondage-style bra and knicker set for £599.
But fans of kink don’t need to have an A-lister’s budget to indulge in naughty knickers, the high street has plenty of pleather – or imitation leather – sets that look just as good. CLEMMIE FIELDSEND asked model Valentina Velez, 20, from Finchley in North London, to try on six sets and rate them out of ten for comfort.

Stars in PVC bras
GWYNETH isn’t the only famous face with a penchant for fetish fabrics. From Nineties catwalks to the US Super Bowl, we look back at stars’ most iconic leather outfits.
1. Supermodel Helena Christensen set the trend for bondage undies on the Versace catwalk in 1992. It must have taken the Dutch model, now 50, a while to buckle into this.
2. Beyonce’s 2013 Super Bowl bodysuit was by US designer Rubin Singer. It took 14 people two months to make and underwent testing to ensure it could withstand her routine.
3. It's one of the most memorable Super Bowl shows after a “wardrobe malfunction” saw Justin Timberlake rip off part of Janet Jackson’s costume to expose her boob in 2004.
4. The Spice Girls cavorting in the desert for Say You’ll Be There in 1996 is one of the most iconic music videos. No doubt Geri Horner, now 46, needed a lot of talc.
